Today’s ISpeakHindi podcast focuses on building vocabulary related to toys, games and musical instruments including the Hindi words for ball, balloon, bat, cards, chess, dancing, and drum. We also point out that the Hindi and English words are the same for bicycle, bricks, comic, crayons, cricket, and dice. Also, the Hindi word for checkers is the same as the British word for draughts. This is out of the book “A First Bilingual Dictionary” on pages 70-71.
