Hearing the difference between consonants क and ख
Hello! Nariandas and Meena came back from India in February. However, before we could get going with the program, we had a friend visit us from Japan (see http://www.GadgetNate.com). Now, we can continue on with the program.
The month of April, we are going to focus on “ear training”. Trying to get our English hearing ears to be able to hear the differences that Hindi speakers do naturally. The way we are going to do this is taking 1 or more letters a day, and focus on hearing this sound in several different words. Today, we are going to focus on hearing the difference between क and ख.
You can follow along with the script that we used to create the program. However, you should listen to the program at least once before looking at the script.

Welcome back Nariandas and Meena. I missed your podcasts and have been very slack for about 2 months, hardly picking up the Hindi books and completely unable to form any Hindi words to anyone. Yesterday I felt some inspiration returning, then this morning I read you came back recently. I have been receiving the daily word/download each day but I could not make use of it. Thank you to those who have kept that going for the sake of us strugglers of a second language.
