The present tense of the word “to be” in Hindi does not change based upon the gender of the subject, but the past tense of “to be”, i.e. “was” does.  Today we are going to cover the past tense of “to be”.

Nathan said (being male) “I was in India.” in Hindi it would be “main bharat me tha.”
Meena said  (being female) “I was in India” in Hindi it would be “main bharat me thi”
