305 - Postpositions

Today is the last in the set of 5 reading lessons.  This lesson focuses on using prepositions (or should we say pospositions).  It shows examples of using “in”, “on”, “under”, and “near”.  It also demonstrates the use of the conjunction “and”.  Here are the sentences that we cover:

 

1)  The dog is in the hut.

कुत्ता झोंपडी में है।

 

2)  The book is on the table.

पुस्तक मेज़ पर है।

 

3)  The rat is under the chair.

चूहा कुर्सी के नीचे है।

 

4)  The car is near the bus.

कार बस के पास है।

 

5)  a man and a van

आदमी और मोटरगाड़ी

 

6)  a dog and a fox

कुत्ता और लोमड़ी
