How does it look?

This letter looks like a hook.  It has a horizontal line on the top, then a little line comes down and it hooks to the left.

How to type it?

If you are using a US English keyboard with the standard Devanagari/Hindi layout, then you would press “‘”

खाट – a kind of Indian bed

पटरी – rails (the track that the railroad goes on)

झटपट – to do fast

At the End

लट – a lock of hair

हट – move

खोट – fraud

कोट – coat

With other vowels

टोपी – hat/cap

उल्टा = upside down

कोटि = innumerable
