“Who” – Questions

In order to ask questions about people, you need to ask questions with the word कौन (who?). This lesson shows many examples of sentences using the word “Who?” such as “Who came?” and “Who will do the work?”. After seeing many examples using this word, you will feel more confident in constructing your own questions using the work कौन.

Is “kisse” for asking after “with whom?” (dative) and “whom?” (accusative)?
Why is “kaun” not used in “America ki khoj kisne kiya?” and “Kisko jaanaa caahiye?”?

Kaun(who) : Wah Kaun Hai?(Who is he?).
Kaun(who_: Wahan kaun Hai(Who is there?)
Kyon(Why): Tumhen yah pustak kyon chahiye(Why do you need this book?)
Kyon(Why?) – Aaap kyon laut aaye(Why did you return?)
kisney(who): Kisney mujhe maara?(who hit me?)
kisse(Who); Kisse tumhari jaroorat hai(who wants you?)
kiskee(Whose): Yeh kiskee pustak hai(Whose book is this?)
kitney(how many): Kiteny aadmi tthey( how many people were there?)
Kissiki(No one) Mujhe kissiki aavshyakta nahin hai(I do not need anyone):
kisliye(why?): Kisliye tum yahan aaye ho?(Why did you come here?)
kis(which) Aaapka makaan kis taraf hai ?(Which side is you house located)
Kab?(when?): Aaap kab aayey?( When did you come?)
kayse(how): Aaap kayse aayey(How did you come?)
