हिंदी पाठ संख्या १३  वर्तमान काल   -Present tense sentences in Hindi in conversation form.

Some  examples:

सुरेश-  suresh:     क्या, तुम हिंदी  पढ़ते   हो ? Kya tum Hindi paddhtey ho? Do you  read  Hindi?

नाथन  Nathan        हाँ   |         Han                            yes.

नाथन  Nathan        क्या, तुम अंग्रेजी   लिखते हो ? Kya tum Angreji likhte ho? Do you write English?

सुरेश-  suresh    नहीं      |                nahin                  No.

सुरेश-  suresh:   तुम  क्या  सीखते  हो ?  Tum kya seekhte ho ? What do you learn?

नाथन  Nathan     मैं  हिंदी   सीखता  हूँ |  Main Hindi Seekhta huun . I learn Hindi.

नाथन  Nathan      क्या तुम चेन्नई में रहते हो  ? Kya tum Chennai mein rahte ho ? Do you stay in Chennai?

सुरेश-  suresh;   मैं  चेन्नई  में  २००५  से  रहता  हूँ|   Main Chennai mein 2005 sey rahta hun . I stay in Chennai since 2005.

सुरेश-  suresh:   क्या   मेरी  तुम्हारे  घर  आती  है / Kya Mary tumharey ghar aati hai?. Does Mary come to your house?

नाथन  Nathan   :  हाँ   |  वह  कभी – कभी  आती  है | Han,  vah kabhi-kabhi aati hai. Yes, she comes sometimes.

नाथन  Nathan   :   क्या तुम गाते हो ? Kya tum gaatey ho ? Do you sing?

सुरेश-  suresh   : मैं मुकेश के गीत  गाता हूँ | Main Mukesh key geet gaata hun .I sing Mukesh’s song.

सुरेश-  suresh   क्या  दुसरे  मित्र   भी  तुम्हारे  घर आते  हैं | Kya doosrey mitr  bhi tumhare ghar aatey hain? Do other friends also come to your house?

नाथन  Nathan :   हाँ , वे  भी  आते  हैं |   Han , we bhi aatey hain. Ye , they do.

नाथन  Nathan:  क्या  तुमको  संगीत  भी  पसंद  है ? Kya tumko sangeet bhi pasand hai?  Do you like music  also?

सुरेश-  suresh   मुझे संगीत बहुत पसंद है | Mujhe sangeet bahut pasand hai.   I love music very much. संगीत के बिना जीवन अधूरा है |Sangeet ke binja jeevan adhoora hai. The life is incomplete without music.

नाथन Nathan; क्या तुम चाय पीते हो?   kya  tum  chaay peetey ho? Do you drink Tea?

सुरेश-  suresh  : मैं  रोज  सुबह कॉफ़ी पीता हूँ | Main roaj subah coffee  peeta hun . I drink coffee in the morning,daily .

 

Some more sentences(examples of present tense)

1.हरि पढ़ता  है |   Hari paddhta hai.     Hari studies.     Present  indefinite tense

2.हरि किताब पढ़ रहा है|  Hari paddh raha hai.   Hari  is studying a book . –  present continuous tense

3.हरि पढ़ा  है|   Hari paddha hai.       Hari has studied-  Present perfect

4.हरि सुबह  से  पढ़ रहा है|  Hari subhah sey paddh raha hai.  Hari has been studying since morning- Present perfect continuous.

कुछ और उदाहरण    Kuch aur udaharan : Some more examples:

    1. सकारात्मक : Sakaraatmak  :  Positive
  1. तुम एक गाडी   चला रहे हो |  Tum ek  gaadi chala  rahe ho. You are driving a  vehicle.
  2. . तुम एक गाडी  चला चुके हो| Tum ek  gaadi chala  chuke ho.  You have driven a vehicle.

II.नकारात्मक    Nakaaratmak :  Negative:

  1. तुम किताब नहीं पढ़ रही हो | Tum kitab nahin paddh rahe ho. You are not reading a book.
  2. तुमने पत्र नहीं लिखा है | Tumney patra nahin likha hai.  You have not written a letter.
  3. तुम पत्र नहीं लिखते हो | Tum patra nahin likhtey ho. You do not write a letter.
  4. मैं हिंदी नहीं पढ़ता   हूँ | Main Hindi nahin paddhta huun. I do not read Hindi .

III.प्रश्न वाचक  :  Prashnwatchak    :  Interrogative:

  1. क्या तुम एक गीत  लिख रहे हो?  Kya tum ek geet likh rahe ho? Are you writing a song?
  2. क्या तुम एक पत्र लिख चुके हो?   Kya tum  ek patra likh chukey ho ?  Have you written a letter?
  3. क्या तुम  एक कहानी लिखते हो ?  Kya tum ek kahani likhtey ho ?Do you write a story?
  4. क्या मैं तमिल  पढ़ता हूँ ?  Kya main Tamil  Padhtaa huun ? Do I read Tamil?    -
    Some more Present tense examples( also includes info. on  masculine or feminine too or singular or plural)

मैं विद्यालय जाता हूँ | Main vidhyalay jaata hun| I go to the school.   Singular/masculine.

मैं पाठशाला जाती हूँ | Mai paathshalla jaati hun.  I go to the school.- singular/feminine

हम मुंबई जाते हैं |  Hum Mumai jaatey hain.   We go to Mumbai.- plural

उषा दूध नहीं पीती है| Usha does not  drink milk .   Usha does not drink milk. Singular /feminine

वे घर जाती हैं |   Ve ghar jaati hain .  They go home plural/feminine

/feminine

वे घर जाते हैं |   ve ghar jaatey hain .  They go home= plural/masculine

वह कार्यालय जाता है  | Vah karyalay jaata hai.  He goes to the office- singular/masculine.

ती (Ti ) ending  denotes: feminine:

 

VOCABULARY:

मित्र  या  दोस्त (Mitr or dost) = Friend or यार  =yaar (pal),  सखी ( sakhee) girl to her friend

घर/गृह (Ghar/ gruh) = House

रहना (Rahna)  to   Stay/live :

निवास स्थान( nivas sthan) Residence:

स्थान या जगह (sthan  or  jagah )Place:

कभी – कभी (kabhee kabhee )Sometimes:

पीना (Peena) to  drink

से (se) Since/from

हैं| (Hain)  : are -plural

है |(Hai   )  :   Is     -singular

आता है (aata hai ): Comes  (verb)- masculine

जीवन (jeevan) life

गीत (geet) song/lyrics

संगीत (Sangeet)  music

रोज (roaj ):Daily

सुबह (subah) or भोर (bhoar) morning   सबेरा ( sabera) dawn, or प्रभात ( prabhaat)-dawn

लिखना (Likhna): to write (verb)

पढना (Padhna:) to read ( verb) 

पत्र (ptr) or चिट्ठी (chitthee) or डाक(daal) or   ख़त(khat) means letter/post/mail        पत्र मंजूषा( Patra manjoosha) letter box

कहानी (Kahanee):  story

अधूरा(adhoora) or अपूर्ण(–apoorn)-incomplete

पाठशाला  or विद्यालय (paathshaala or vidhyalaya) = school

कार्यालय  or दफ्तर (karyalay: or daftar):  office

Tips: Hai,(is) Hun,hain(are) (am) or Ho(are)  last word of the sentence is indicative of present tense.

Task:  In the line of above, practice more  similar present tense sentences and share.
