While we are on the topic of school, we should talk about textbooks.  Do you have a Hindi textbook?  If you are looking for one or perhaps one for a friend, consider getting the Namaste Jii textbook.  It is 480 pages long, weighs 4 pounds, and it covers pronouns, adjectives, verbs, habitual present tense, habitual past tense, postpositions, oblique case, progressive tense, future tense, simple past tense, perfect tenses, compulsion, subjunctive, presumptive, future progressive, contains several conversations, and more.  Perhaps you already have one, it would make a perfect Christmas gift, Diwali gift, or perhaps a birthday gift.

How much does it cost?  Well, if you are a paid subscriber living in the US, then you can have it delivered to your door for $30 including everything.  ($25 is the paid subscriber price, and shipping to US address is only $5.)  However, if you are not a paid subscriber than the cost of the book is $45.  (Makes sense to become a paid subscriber, just to buy the book.)  And unfortunately, we have not found a way to ship 4 lbs cheaply outside the US.  So, if you are outside the US, it is $45 for shipping.   Click here to find out more.

B: He is very interesting and challenging. Is that what you are looking for?

A: Yes, I really need someone who is really good.
B: He is really clear on what you need to learn to get a good grade. Are you willing to study hard?

A: Yes, I guess so.

B: Man, this guy was so funny when he was teaching. I like that, don’t you?

A: No, that stuff isn’t important to me.
B: Did you know that he is a fairly new teacher and very current in his field?
