(Solhvee(16th) sadee ke shuru mein, Babar, ek Turki-Mangol saahasee ney Mughal rajvansh kee sthaapna kee.)
In the early 16th century, Babar, a Turkish-Mongol adventurer established the Mughal Dynasty, in India .
42. सत्रह (१७) वीं सदी तक दक्षिण भारत के बड़े से क्षेत्र मुगल साम्राज्य के प्रत्यक्ष शासन या विस्तार के प्रभाव में आ गए |
(Satrahvee(17th) sadee tak Dakshin Bharat ke bade se kshetra Moghul saamrajy ke praktyaksh shaasan ya vistaar ke prabhaav mein aa gaye.)
By the 17th century large areas of South India came under the direct rule or influence of the expanding Mughal Empire.
43. दक्षिण एशिया में पहली ब्रिटिश चौकी पश्चिमोत्तर तट पर सूरत में अंग्रेजी ईस्ट इंडिया कंपनी द्वारा १६१९ में स्थापित की गयी थी.

The first British outpost in South Asia was established by the English East India Company in 1619 at Surat on the northwestern coast.

(Shatabdi ke ant mein, deshi shasakon ke sangrakshan ke antargat company ney ek sthayee byapaar kendr Madras(ab Chennai), Bombai(ab Mumbai) aur Kalkatta(ab Kolkataa) mein khola.)
At the end of the century, the Company opened a permanent trading center at Madras (now Chennai), Bombay (now Mumbai), and Calcutta (now Kolkata) under the protection of native rulers.

In the year 1857, British Crown took over charge from East India Company.

In the year 1920, Gandhijee campaigned against British colonial rule.
