3.मेरा दोस्त यहाँ रहता है |

(Mera dost yahan Rahta hai. )

My friend stays here.

4. मेरा मित्र   वहां रहता था |

(Mera mitr yahan Rahta tha. )

My friend used to live there.

5.मेरी सहेली यहाँ रहती है (f) |

(Meri sahelee yaha rahti hai.)

My friend stays here (feminine).

6.मेरी सखी पिछले पांच साल से यहाँ रह रही है (f) |

(Meree sakhi pichley paanch saal se yahan rah rahee hai. )

My friend has been staying here for the last five years.

7.वह कब   आयेगी (f)?|

9Vah kab aayegee? )

When will she come?

8.तुम कब फिर आओगे?

(Tum kab phir aaogay?)

When will you come again?

9.मैं एक महीने बाद आऊंगा |

(Main ek maheenay baad aaunga. )

I will come after one month.

10.आप कब कलकत्ता गए ?

(App kab kalkatta gaye ?. )

When did you go to Calcutta (Kolkatta)?

11.मैं कभी भी कलकत्ता नहीं गया |

(Main kabhee bhee Calcutta nahin gaya. )

I never went to Calcutta.

12.तुम क्या खाते और पीते हो ?

(Tum kya khaatay aur peetay ho? )

What do you eat and drink.

13. मैं भात खाता हूँ और छाछ पीता हूँ |

(Main bhaat khaata hun aur chhaach peeta huun.)

I eat rice ( cooked)  and drink butter milk.

14.क्या तुम खा चुके हो?

(Kya tum khaa chukey ho?)

Have you already eaten ( or taken food/meal )?

15.मैं इस समय कुछ केले  खाना चाहता हूँ )

( Main is samay kuch kele khaana chahta huun. )

I want to eat some bananas this time.

16.आपकी आज्ञा  शिरोधार्य है |

(Aaapki aagya shirodhaarya hai. )

Your instruction is greatly honorable .or ( acceptable).

17. आपका क्या आदेश है |

(Aapka kya aadesh hai?)

What is your order?

18.मैं एक ग्लास दूध लूंगी (f) |

(Main ek glass doodh loongee.)

I will take a glass of milk.

19. खाना मत परोसो |

(Khaana mat paroso. )

Do not serve the food.

20.एक दिन का भाड़ा (क्या ) है ?      कितना (kitnaa) – how much

(Ek din ka bhaada kya hai ?)

What is the fare for a day?

21.मैं एक  सौ (१००) रुपये प्रति घंटा लेता हूँ  |

(Main sau (100) ropaye prati ghanta leta hun.)

I take Rupees one hundred ( 10) per hour (basically I charge).

22.ऑटो-रिक्शा का किराया महंगा है |

(Auto-rickshaw ka kiraya mahanga hai. )

The rent of the auto-rickshaw is expensive.

23. इस दूकान का मालिक कौन है?

(Is dukaan ka maalik kaun hain?)

Who is the owner of this shop?

24.दुकान का मालिक  किशोर है जो अनुपस्थित है |

(Dukaan ka maalik Kishore hai jo anupasthit hai.)

The owner of the shop is Kishore who is absent.

25.वह ब्यक्ति कौन है |

(Vah byakti kaun hai ?)

Who is that person?

26.वह बिहार का राज्यपाल है |

(Vah Bihar ka Raajyapaal hai.)

He is the Governor of Bihar.

27.मेरे कहने का यह अर्थ (तात्पर्य  or   मतलब  ) नहीं था  |

Mere kahney ka yah arth( or taatpary  or matlab ) nahin tha.

I did not mean to say this.

28.क्या आपने कुछ कहा ?

(Kya aapnay kuch kaha? )

Did you say something?

29.मेरी इच्छा है कि आप कुछ देर यहाँ रुकें  |

(Meri iccha hai kie aap kuch dayr yahan rukein.)

I wish that you stay here for some time.

30. मुझे आपसे मिलकर बहुत प्रसन्नता (खुशी) हुई|

(Mujhe aapse milkar bahut prasannata (Khushee) huyee.)

I am glad to meet you.

31.मैं उतना ही खुश हूँ |

Main utna he khush huun.)

I am equally happy.

32.यहाँ से नगर कितना दूर है ?

(Yahan se nagar kita door hai? )

How far is the town from here?

33.यहाँ से मुख्य डाक घर लगभग १० किलोमीटर दूर है |

(Yahan se mukhy daakghar lagbhag 10 kilometer door hai. )

The head(main) post office is about 10 kilometer away from here.

34.तुम यहाँ क्या कर रही हो (feminine) ?

(Tum yahan kya kar rahee ho?)

What are you doing here?

35. मैं यहाँ अपने पति का इंतज़ार कर रही हूँ |

(Main yahan  apney pati ka intajaar kar rahee huun. )

I am waiting for my husband here.

36 हम सब एक बस की प्रतीक्षा कर रहे हैं |

(Hum sab ek bas kee prateeksha kar rahein hai.)

We all are waiting for a bus.

37.मैं यहाँ काफी समय से  हूँ  |

(Main yahan kafee samay se huun)

I am here for a long time.

38. कृपया हमें अन्दर आने की अनुमति दीजिये |

(Kripaya hamein andar aanay kee anumati deejiye.)

Please allow us to come inside .

39.हम घर जाते  हैं |

(Hum ghar jaatay hain.)

We go home .

40.वह  पुस्तक (किताब) बहुत  दिलचस्प है |

(Vah pustak(kitaab) bahut dilchasp hai.)

That book is very interesting.

41.यह पत्रिका  काफी लोकप्रिय है  |

(Yah patrika kafee lokpriy hai. )

42.मैं छुट्टी (अवकाश )पर अमेरिका जा रहा हूँ |

(Main chutti (avkaash)par America jaa raha huun.)

I am going to America on leave (holiday).

(Main jaldee mein huun.)

I am in a hurry.

44.मुझे शीघ्र घर जाना है |

(Mujhe sheeghra ghar jaana hai.)

I need to go home early.

45.मेरी दीदी मुंबई में रहती है  (f) |

(Meree deedee Mumbai mein rahtee hai.)

My sister(elder) lives in Mumbai.

(Main apney kaaraylay tak pahunchanay ke liey scooter ka upyog kartee huun.)
