This is the lament of sailors who have run out of water in the middle of the ocean surrounded by undrinkable salt water. They understand the importance of water in a very fundamental way that you and I probably could not. When we need water, we can just go to the sink and turn on the faucet. But water is essential. In this lesson Suresh explains the importance of water through a short essay written in Hindi. Practice understanding these Hindi sentences, learn some vocabulary, and just as important, reflect on the importance of water.
