काम के बाद आप कहाँ (where) जा रहे हैं?

(Kaam ke baad aap kahan jaa rahen hain?)

Where are you going after the work?

चाय की प्याली (cup) टूट गई (broke) |

( Chay kee pyaalee toot gai. )

The tea cup broke.

मेरा अनुसरण  (follow) करो |

(Mera anusaran karo.)

Follow me.

मेरी चिन्ता (worry) मत करो, मेरे बिना ( बगैर ) जाओ|

(Meree chinta mat karo, mere bina (bagaiyr) jaaon.)

Don’t worry about me, go without me.

कृपया मथुरा की एक तीसरी   ए सी श्रेणी  (class)  की   रेल की  टिकट दें  |

(Kripya Mathura kee ek teesree AC shrenee keerail kee  tikat dein.)

Please give me one IIIrd AC class train ticket to Mathura.

उसके पास दो कुत्ते  ( dogs) हैं|

(Uskay paas do kuttey hain.)

He has two dogs.

मेरा कोई भाई या बहन ( sister) नहीं है |

(Mera koi bhai ya bahan nahin hai. )

I do not have any  brother or sister.

वह ठंड ( cold) से पीड़ित (suffer) है |

(Vah thand se peedit hai.)

He is suffering from cold?

किसी  पर शक (suspect)  मत करो |

( Kisee par shak mat karo. )

Do not  suspect  anyone .

उसको इसके बारे में शंका (doubt)  है|

(Usko iskey barey mein shanka hai.)

She has doubts about this.

वे कुछ  प्रश्न (question) पूछना  (ask) चाहते हैं |

(Ve kuchh prashn poochhna chahtey hain. )

They want to ask some questions.

पेट दर्द (pain) गंभीर (severe) है |

(Payt dard gambheer hai. )

Abdominal (stomach )  pain is severe.

मेरे घर में तीन ( three) शौचालय (toilet) हैं |

(Mere ghar mein teen shauchalay hain.)

My  house has  three toilets.

मेरे पास एक कार है I

(Mere paas ek car hai. )

I have a car.

मै शायद आपके साथ जाऊँ|

(Main shayad aapkey saath jaaun.)

I may (perhaps) go with you.

क्यों तुम  ब्यस्त (busy) होने  का नाटक (pretend/drama) कर रहे हो ?

(Kyon tum byast honay ka naatak kar rahey ho? )

Why are you pretending to be busy?

अगर ( if) आप बुरा ( mind) न माने तो मैं  कुछ  कहूँ ( say) ?

(Agar aap bura na maaney to main kuch kahun?)

If you do not mind, then may I say something?

क्या मैं बाहर जा सकता हूँ?

(Kya main baahar jaa sakta huun?)

May I go out?

शायद ( perhaps) मेरे मित्र ( friends) अगले ( next) महीने आवें|

(Shaayad mere mitr agley mahiney aavein.)

My friends perhaps might come next month.

शायद यह सज्जन (gentleman) जानते हों , हम वहां कैसे पहुंचेंगे ?

(Shayad yah sajjan janatey hon, ham vahan kaise pahunchayngey.)

This gentleman may (perhaps knows) know ,how will we  reach there?.

शायद (probably) वे तमिल  में बात कर रहे हैं|

(Shayad ve Tamil mein baat kar rahe hain.)

They are probably speaking in  Tamil.

कृपया उसको जाने दो|

(Kripaya usko jaaney do. )

Please let him go. ( allow )

आप उसको आने दें|

(Aaap usko aaney dein.)

You let him come,please.

कृपया (Please) उसको उसकी पुस्तक देखने दो|

(Kripaya usko uskee pustak dekhney do.)

Please let him see his book.

उसने ( he) उसको ( him) जाने दिया|

( Usney usko jaaney diya.)

He let him go. ( allowed)

मैंने ( I) उसको जाने दिया|

(Mainey usko jaaney deiya.)

I let him go. ( I allowed him to go/ I permitted him to go.)

मैं उसको जाने देता हूँ|

(Main usko jaaney deta huun.)

I permit him to go.

हम ( We)  उनको ( them) लिखने देते हैं|

(Ham unko likhney detey hain. )

We let them write. ( allow )

मैं समाचार (news)  सुनकर खुश हुआ ( became)  |

(Main samachaar sunkar khush hua.)

I became happy hearing the news.

हमें (we) अब जाना ( leave) चाहिए |

(Hamein ab jaana chahiye.)

we ought to go (leave) now.  |

आप मुझे सामान (article)  एक दिन में दे देवें|

(Aaap mujhe saamaan ek  din mein de devein.)

You need to give me the article in a day .

एक सप्ताह पहले  (ago)  मैं वहाँ नहीं थी  (feminine gender)|

(Ek saptaah pahley  main vahan nahin thee.)

I was not  there a week ago.

मैं चेन्नई  में सन् २००५  से रह रहा (living) हूँ|

(Main Chennai mein san 2005 se rah raha huun.)

I have been living in Chennai  since 2005.

तीन  दिन से बरसात -rain (बारिश या वर्षा या बरखा  या वृष्टि or bareesh or varsha , barkha or vrishti ) हो रही है I

(Teen din se barsaat ho rahee hai .)

It has  been raining for three days.

हम यहाँ पांच  घण्टे (hours) रहेंगे|

(Hum yahan paanch ghantey rahenge. )

We will be here for five hours.

यह घटना ( incidence) एक लंबे समय  (or अरसे= arsey)  पहले हुई|

(Yah ghatana ak lambey samay pahley hui.)

This incidence  occurred  a  long time ago.

कृपया मुझे एक डाक (Postal) टिकट दें |

(Kripaya mujhe ek daak ticket dein.)

Please give me a postal stamp.

जल्दी करों,  अन्यथा (otherwise),  हमारी रेल   छूट (miss) जायगी |

(Jaldee karo anaytha  hamaree rail chhoot jayegee.)

Hurry up, otherwise, we will miss the train.

उसने  सुना (heard) मैंने क्या (what) कहा (said) और  हँस (laugh) पडी|

(Usney suna mainey kya kaha aur hans padee.)

She heard what I said and laughed.

मैं इतना बीमार  (sick) था कि मैं बिस्तर (bed) से भी  ( even) उठ नहीं  सका|

(Main itna beemaar tha kei main bistar se bhee ooth nahin  saka.)

I was so sick that I could not  even get out of bed.

वह उसको फिर (again)  बुला (call) रहा है |

(Vah usko phir bula raha hai. )

He is calling him again.

क्या मेरे लिये वहाँ (there) काम होगा ?

(Kya mere liye vahan kaam hoga ? )

Will there be work for me?

तुम क्या कह (say) रहे हो?

(Tum kya kah rahey ho ?)

What are you saying?

आप क्या बनना ( become) चाहते हैं?

(Aap kya banana chahtey hain ? )

What do you want to be (become)?

मैं आपका  देखभाल  (care) करूँगा  |

(Main aapka dekhbhaal  karungaa . )

I will take care of  you .

मैं यह फिर ( again)  कहूँगा|

(Main yah phir kahunga. )

I will say it again .

चलो यहाँ ( here) से निकल चलें|

(Chalo, yahan se nikal chalein. )

Let us get out of here .

मैं नहीं जानता ( know) वह कब घर आयेगी |

(Main nahin jaanta vah kab ghar aayegee.)

I do not know when she will come home. |

मेरा मित्र अपने रिश्तेदारों (relatives) से मिलने नेपाल  गया है|

( Mera mitr apney rishteydaron se milney Nepal gaya hai.)

My friend  has gone  to Nepal to visit his relatives.

कमल  के दांत  में दर्द  (ache) है |

(Kamal ke daant mein dard hai.)

Kamal has a toothache.

कल ( Yesterday) तुमने  क्या किया ?

( Kal tumney kya kiya ? )

What did you do yesterday?

कोई नहीं जानता कब, कहाँ, कैसे और  क्यों  हमारी  मृत्यु होगी|

(Koi nahin jaanata kab, kahan, kaise, aur kyon hamaree mrityu hogee. )

Nobody knows when, where, how and why  will we  die.

अनार का  भाव या  दाम  (cost ) क्या है?

(Anaar ka bhaav  ya daam kya   hai? )

What  is the cost of the pomegranate?

वह अपनी पुस्तक  ( book) पढ़ रहा था|

(Vah apnee pustak padh raha tha. )

He was reading his own book.

आपने भारत  का कौन ( which) सा भाग ( part) देखा है?

(Aaapney Bharat ka kaun saa bhaag (or hissa) dekha hai?)

Which area or part of India  you have seen?

आप किस तरह की  गाडी  ( vehicle) पसन्द  ( like) करते हैं?

(App kis tarah kee gadee pasand kartey hain? )

What type of vehicle do you like?

आपकी  पत्नी ( wife) दूध ( milk) क्यों पसंद करती  है?

(Aaapkee patnee doodh kyon pasand kartee hai ?
Why does your wife like milk?
