{Suresh 337} – Sentences from the words frequently used in Hindi
हिंदी में बहुधा प्रयुक्त होने वाले शब्दों से वाक्य ( Hindi mein bahudhaa prayukt honey waaley shabdon se vaaky)
भाषा (Bhasha) = language :
भाषा का आदर ( respect) करना सीखो ( learn) । ( Bhaashaa ka aadar karna seekho.) Learn to respect the language.
लेकिन (Lekin) = but :
मैं घर गया था लेकिन वहां कोई न था । ( Main ghar gaya tha lekin vahan koyee na tha.) I had gone home but no one was there.
आपके (Aapke) = yours :
आपके सवालों ( questions) का जवाब (answers) मेरे पास नहीं है | ( Aaapkey sawaalon ka jawaab merey paas nahin hai.) I don’t have answers to your questions.
नहीं (Nahi) = no :
मुझे कुछ भी नहीं चाहिए । ( Mujhey kuchh bhee nahin chahiye.) I do not want anything at all.
जब (Jab) = when :
जब मुझे वेतन (pay) मिलेगा तब मैं आपका ऋण ( loan) चुका दूंगा । ( Jab mujhey vetan milegaa tab main aapka rin chukaa doonga.) When I
will get pay/salary, then I will repay your loan.
द्वारा (Dwara) = through /by:
इस पत्र को राम के द्वारा ( through) भिजवा देना । ( Is ptr ko Ram key dwaara bhijwaa denaa.)
Have this letter sent through Ram.
क्या (Kya) = what :
तुम्हें क्या चाहिए ? ( Tumhein kya chahiye? ) What do you want?
थे (The) = were :
कई कुत्ते भौंक ( barking) रहे थे । ( Kayee kuttey bhaunk rahey they.) Several dogs were barking.
शब्द (Shabdh) = word
इस शब्द का उच्चारण करो । ( Is shabd ka ucchaaran karo.) Pronounce this word.
सब (Sab) = all :
हम सब प्राणी हैं । ( ham sab praanee hain. ) We all are people/human beings/living creatures
घर (Ghar) = home :
यह घर सूना है । (Yah ghar soonaa hai. ) = This house is empty/deserted.
नाम (Naam) = name
नाम में क्या रखा है ? ( Naam mein kya rakhaa hai.) Where is there (kept) in name?
हम (Ham) = we :
हम प्यासे ( thirsty) हैं । ( Ham pyaasey hain. ) We are thirsty.
या (Ya) = or :
एक लडके या एक लडकी को यह नौकरी दी जा सकती है । ( Ek ladkey ya ek ladkee ko yah naukaree dee jaa saktee hai. This job can be
given to a boy or a girl.
खाना (Khana) = food, to eat :
food : खाना गर्म है । ( Khaanaa garm hai.) The food is hot.
another example: to eat : मुझे भूख लगी है, मैं खाना चाहता हूँ । ( Mujhey bhook lagee hai, main khaana chahta huun.) I am feeling hungry, I want to eat.
से (Se) = from :
तालाब (pond) से पानी ले आओ } ( Taalaab se paanee ley aao.) Get /bring the water from the pond.
होना (Hona) = be :
ऐसा तो होना ही ( surely) था । ( Aisa to hona hee tha. ) It had to happen, surely/certainly. .
