{Suresh 349) Poem: .(The Indian culture is the best in the world
भारतीय संस्कृति ( culture) दुनिया में सबसे अच्छी है।(Bhaarteey sanskruti duniya mein sabsey acchhee hai. )
Introduction; Picked this poem from face book,written by some one(thanks to that great writer.). A request was there for translation which I did and I am sharing with you all.
नयन का नयन से नमन हो रहा है,लो उषा( dawn) का आगमन ( arriving) हो रहा है,
(Nayan ka nayan se naman ho raha hai, lo usha ka aagaman ho raha hai)
The eyes are saluting each other,.the dawn is arriving here,
परत (layer) पर परत, चांदनी (moonlight ) कट रही है,तभी तो निशा (night) का गमन (migrating ) हो रहा है,
(Parat par parat, chaandnee kat rahee hai, tabhee to nisha kaa gaman ho raha hai.)
The moonlight is going out layer by layer, then only the night is migrating,
क्षितिज ( horizon) पर अभी भी हैं, अलसाये ( lazy ) सपने (dreams),पलक( eyelid ) खोल कर भी, शयन ( lying down) हो रहा है,
(ksihitz par abhee bhee hain, alsaaye sapney,Palak khol kar bhee shayan ho raha hai.)
The sleepy dreams are still there on the horizon , sleeping (lying down) having the eye-lids open,
झरोखों (peephole) से प्रातः की पहली किरण ( ray) का,लहर( waves) से प्रथम आचमन( rinse) हो रहा है,
(Jharokhon se praatah kee pahlee kiran ka , lahar se pratham aachman ho raha hai.)
From the peephole, waves of first rays are coming (rinsing) onto face,
हैं नहला( giving bath) रहीं, हर कली ( bud ) को तुषार ( winter),लगन पूर्वक ( diligent) कितना जतन ( efforts ) हो रहा है,
(Hai nahlaa rahee, har kalee ko tushaar ,laganpurv kitna jatan ho raha hai.)
Morning dews are giving bath to each of the buds, what a diligent efforts are being made with the passion/commitment
वही शाख ( branch ) पर पक्षियों ( birds ) का है कलरव( twittering/chirping),प्रभाती ( morning ) सा लेकिन, सहन ( bear ) हो रहा है,
( Vaheein shaakh par pakshiyon ka hai kalrav,Prabhaatee saa lekin, sahan ho raha hai.)
The twitter/chirping of birds on the branch there,like morning,however able to bear,
बढ़ी ( increaing ) जा रही जिस तरह से अरुणिमा (reddishness),है लगता कहीं पर हवन हो रहा है,
(Badhee jaa rahee jis tarah se arunimaa, hai lagta kahin par hawan ho raha hai,)
the manner the reddishness is increasing/enhancing,it seems as if Havan( sacrifice/Homam) is taking place somewhere,
मधुर ( sweet ) मुक्त ( free) आभा, सुगंधित पवन ( wind ) है,नये दिन का कैसा सृजन ( creating ) हो रहा है।
(Madhur mukt aabhaa, sugandhit pavan hai.,naye din ka kaisa srujan ho raha hai.)
The sweet-free ,lustre, fragrant wind is , how the creation of a new day is taking place.

I haven’t written this. Yes I did transliterate and translate in English as this Hindi poem was sent to me by one person with a request to explain the meaning. I made an attempt.
True, it is my favourite too. Mujhey yah kavita atyadhik pasand hai.
