भाववाचक   संज्ञा ( Bhaavvaachak sangya)

 

उस शब्द को कहते हैं जिसका उपयोग किसी गुण या स्थिति का वर्णन एक वस्तु की तरह करते हैं|

(Us shabd ko kahtey hain jiskaa upyog kisee gun ya sthiti ka varnan ek vastu kee tarah kartey hain.

 

Abstract noun is the word used as the name of a quality, or state when that quality,
 or state is considered as an object


Please see from noun, pronoun, verb, the following  can be converted into abstract nouns.


संज्ञा  से   (sangyaa sey ) from noun


क्षत्रिय (kshatriya)- warrior   क्षत्रियत्व ( kshatriyatv) - VALOR/HEROIC
पुरुष (purush) - man पुरुषत्व (purushatv) virility
प्रभु ( prabhu) -  Lord = प्रभुता (prabhutaa) lordship
पशु ( pashu)- cattle  = पशुता,  ( pashutaa) - brutality पशुत्व (pashutv)
ब्राह्मण ( Brahmin) - One of the caste in Hindu  = ब्राह्मणत्व  ( Brhaminism)


दास (daas) - slave  = दासता ( daastaa) slavery
पंडित ( pandit) scholar    = पांडित्य (paanditya) erudition/ scholarship
बंधु ( bandhu) brother   = बंधुत्व (bandhutav) fraternity./brotherhood
मित्र (mitr ) - friend = मित्रता (mitrataa)  - friendship

सर्वनाम से ( sarvnaam se ) from pronoun

निज (Niz) - personal = निजत्व, ( nizatv) or निजता (niztaa) - privacy
पराया (paraayaa) -outsider   = परायापन (paraayaapan) strangeness
सर्व (sarv) = all/everybody - सर्वस्व (sarvasv) everything


अपना (apnaa)  own/ = अपनापन( apnaapan) or  अपनत्व  (apnatv)   - Affection, affinity.




विशेषण से ( visehshan se) From adjective)


मधुर (madhur) = sweet     =   माधुर्य (maadhurya) -melody
सुंदर (sundar)  beautiful  = सौंदर्य ( saundary) or  सुंदरता  (sundartaa)   - beauty


मीठा (meethaa) - sweet  = मिठास (mithaas) sweetness
चतुर (chatur) - clever   = चातुर्य ( chaaturya)  - tact or  चतुराई ( chaturaayee) cleverness




क्रिया से ( from verb )


लिखना (likhnaa) to write   = लेख (lekh) article
हँसना (hansnaa) to laugh   = हँसी (hansee) laughter


खेलना ( khela ) to play = खेल (khel) game
थकना ( thaknaa) to get tired   = थकावट ( thakaavat)  exhaustion
