Sun : Red sun with an intense glow and sun beams

 

Suresh 353 }Poem: Sun    सूरज or  सूर्य  ( Sooraj or Soorya)  -कविता (kavita-poem)

Introduction:  Kindly note Sun is also called:   रवि (Ravi) , दिनकर (Dinkar) , प्रभाकर (Prabhaakar) ,भास्कर ( Bhaaskar),

, दिवाकर (Diwaakar) , आदित्य (Aaadity) , दिनेश ( Dinesh), भानु ( Bhaanu) , आक ( Aak) , मित्र ( Mitr) , मार्तण्ड ( Maartand) ,

मन्दार ( Mandaar) , पतंग (patang) , विहंगम ( vihangam) ,

 

पूरब ( east ) का दरवाजा ( door) खोल, धीरे- धीरे( gradually)  सूरज ( sun) गोल,
लाल रंग बिखराता है, ऐसे सूरज आता है |
(Poorab ka darwaazaa khol, dheerey -dheerey sooraj gol,
Laal rang bikhraata hai, aisey sooraj aataa hai,
Opening the door of east, gradually sun spreads/sheds round, red colour,
Sun comes like this.

गाती हैं चिड़ियाँ ( birds)  सारी, खिलती ( blossoms)  हैं कलियाँ ( buds) प्यारी,
दिन सीढी पर चढ़ता है , ऐसे सूरज बढ़ता है|
(Gaatee hain chidiyan saareein, khilatee hain kaliyaan, pyaaree,
Din seedhee par chadhtaa hai, aisey sooraj badhtaa hai, )
All the birds sing(chirp/twitter) lovely buds blossom,
 as the day progresses, sun moves forward.
गर्मी कम हो जाती है, धूप थकी ( tired) सी आती है ,
सूरज आगे चलता है, ऐसे सूरज ढलता है ,
(garmee kam ho jaatee hai, dhoop thakee see aatee hai,
(Sooraj aagey chalta hai, aise sooraj dhaltaa hai,)
The heat is reduced, sunshine comes as if tired,
Sun moves ahead, thus sun set takes place.

I am Suresh.   I spent 30 years in  the state of Bihar/Jharkhand.  My mother
 tongue is Tamil.    I studied in Hindi medium till graduation(commerce). 
I have passion for Hindi. I teach Hindi  via online ,currently .  I also undertake
 translation assignments.

 I served a US NGO for 29 years in  India and abroad. I have submitted
