पकौड़ी (pakaudee)






 




दौड़ी दौड़ी आई  पकौड़ी ( dumpling) ,


(Daudee daudee aayee pakaudee,)
Dumplings came running,

छुन छुन तेल में नाची ( danced) ,


(Chhun chhun tail mein naachee.)
danced in the oil with jingle sound,


प्लेट  में आ शरमाई ( felt shy)  पकौड़ी


(Plate mein aa sharmaayee pakaudee.)
Felt/Became shy after coming onto the plate

दौड़ी दौड़ी आई ( came)  पकौड़ी,


(Daudee daudee aai pakaudee, )
Dumplings came running

हाथ से उछली ( jumped) ,  मुंह में पहुँची ( reached) ,


(Haath se oochlee, munh mein pahunchee.)


Swung out of the  hand,reached into the mouth 

पेट ( stomach) में जा घबराई ( nervous) पकौड़ी


(pait mein jaa ghabaraai pakaudee.)
Dumplings became  nervous  in stomach


दौड़ी दौड़ी आई  पकौड़ी


(Daudee daudee aayee pakaudee.)


Dumplings came running


मेरे मन को भायी(liked)  पकौड़ी


(Merey man ko bhayee pakaudee.)
My mind/heart liked the Dumplings

I am Suresh.   I spent 30 years in  the state of Bihar/Jharkhand.  My mother
 tongue is Tamil.    I studied in Hindi medium till graduation(commerce). 
I have passion for Hindi. I teach Hindi  via online ,currently .  I also undertake
 translation assignments.

 I served a US NGO for 29 years in  India and abroad. I have submitted
