{Suresh 431} तीन मूर्ख (Teen moorkh) Three fools. – story -कहानी ( kahaanee)
प्राचीन काल में एक राजा था। (Pracheen kaal mein ek raajaa tha.) There was a king in the ancient times. उसके तीन बेटे थे। (Uskey teen betey they.) He had three sons. तीनों बड़े मूर्ख थे। (Teenon badey moorkh they.) All three were very stupid. उनका मन पढ़ाई में नहीं लगता था। (Unka man padhaayee mein nahin lagtaa tha.) They were not interested in studies. अतः कोई भी अध्यापक उन्हें पढ़ा नहीं सका। (Atah koyee bhee adhyaapak unhein padhaa nahin saka.) Therefore, no teacher could instruct/teach them. अन्त में विष्णु शर्मन नामक एक विद्वान ने केवल छह महीनों में राजकुमारों को पूर्णरूपेण शिक्षित करने का उत्तरदायित्व लिया। (Ant mein Vishnu sharman naamak ek vidwaan ney sirf chheh maheenon mein raajkumaaron ko purnrupen shikshit karney ka uttardaayitv liya.) At last a scholar called Vishnu Sharman took the responsibility of completely educating the princes (the three songs of the king) all within six month's time. वह प्रतिदिन राजकुमारों को नई-नई कहानियां सुनाते जिनके पात्र मुख्यतः पशु एवं पक्षी होते थे। (Vah pratidin raajkumaaron ko nayee-nayee kahaniyan sunaatey jinkey paatr mukhyatah pashu-pakshee hotey they.) Daily he used to tell the princes new stories whose main characters were birds and the animals. राजकुमार इन कहानियों को बड़े चाव से सुना करते। (Rajkumaar in kahaaniyon ko badey chaav se suna kartey.) The princes used to hear these stories with fondness. फलस्वरूप (falswaroop) कुछ ही समय में तीनों सफल जीवन के गुणों से अवगत हो गये। (Falswaroop kuchh hee samay mein teenon safal jeevan ke gunon se avgat ho gaye.) Consequently, within a short time all three princes became aware of the qualities of a successful life. VOCABULARY: चाव (Chaav) fondness
