Have you all seen the ”my vocabulary” page: http://www.ispeakhindi.com/my-vocabulary/

You can now keep track of words that you have ”mastered” There is even a graph showing how you improve over time..

There are three people so far that have mastered some words…

    • Nathan Ji, So far my graph says ”adjective, 14” ”noun, 30” ”verb, 5” ”pronoun, 3” ”postposition, 2” and then there is a huge red part of the pie that just says ”,22”. What is that one supposed to be?

Will we have this data available on our profile pages? It would help to know a rough picture of another user’s vocabulary knowledge when we go into chat or writing each other in Hindi.

    • @bolly1baby the ”,22” are for the words that currently do not have a part of speech listed in the system. We are working on ensuring all the words are complete, but it will take a little time.

I was planning on having this information on the profile pages as well. Maybe all three bits of information: vocabulary count and the pie graph with the parts of speech would indicate how proficient the person is. The graph of the vocabulary over time would indicate how active and committed the person is.
