Hi Nathan, I still do not get much sound on my 4 words a day. I did 8 words today but had to do some guessing. I tried for 12 but there was no sound so I gave up. Like I have mentioned before, I always (for the most part) get sound with the 4 review words.
Is there any way to skip through the percentage count up if you already know the words? It would be a great feature to just add them to my vocabulary and proceed to a new set of words to learn, words I don’t know!
That is a good idea. I was thinking of letting people choose groups of words that they wanted to learn. That way they could skip directly to the words they wanted to study. I am a little hesitant to make it so that people can just mark words that they know since I am trying to introduce a little competitiveness into mastering vocabulary. But maybe they could mark the words they know and it is used for everything except the “mastered” count…
I’ll have to think about it a little more and see what I can do. But I see how this can be useful.
ok Nathan thanks! Even just a button with option to skip to next set of words would be great… OR reassign one or more words from the set, whatever would be easier nad more practial… it takes time to go through the excersize when I already know the words, and that dicourages me from wanting to use the application which I think is otherwise a very good way to learn!
Maybe because I not a total beginner but still a beginner I know maybe 200+ words or so… so being able to skip ahead to another set of more useful (unknown) words would be super… and just add those to my words I already know. What do you think? – p
I would like to repeat the vocabulary frequently (in order to keep them better).
Is it possible to set up repeating section separately?
My native languages are German and Croatian, and my english is not so good (I’m learning it through these lessons, so I learn to languages). I hope that others would also often repeat vocabulary.
Thank you for the opportunity to learn Hindi and Greetig from Germany
I’m not getting sound on these anymore. They started out ok, but now there is no sound playing.
I’m trying to go through the list and listen to each word on this page that I’ve mastered, but it’s really hard because it redirects you to the top of the page after you listen to each word. I want to listen to the words before I read them, but once I reach the words that I have to scroll down to see, I immediately lose my place when redirected to the top. I hope this makes sense. I really like this tool otherwise! Thanks so much!!
Since two days I can t use the master 4 words. It does not shows the words, only shows “to click” if you want to start.
What can I do?
What happened to the 32 words I have already mastered?
Also,I’m trying to master some more words and it will not take me to that page. Can u help?
Have the Vocabulary totals been wiped from people’s accounts??
I am trying to get on to the learn 4 words per day section, and nothing happens.

What has happened to the program 4 words. It is not working. HELP
When are you going to have the 4 word program up and working again.
Master 4 words is not working. It does not show any words.
Can you update the vocabulary as masculine or feminine? It would really help. Thanks.
Please refer to http://www.shabdkosh.com which is an excellent on line dictionary from google having gender for most of the words and is used by all in case of need.
I love the the master 4 words a day tool, Works well in Mozilla Firefox. Not so well in Safari. My only comment is that it would be nice to add a feature where by you either periodically add back some of the words a user has already mastered or provide a quiz on words already mastered. The thing is while i can master 4 words today those same 4 words will be forgotten in a few days time if they are not practiced, especially for those like my self that live in a country in which English is the primary language, Hindi practice is hard to come by and the key to speaking i believe is in practice.
With Love and OM!
Hi Nathan, can you tell me how one can quiz themselves on words already in the master list? I find that even if I have ‘mastered’ 8-10 words through the week, I need to go back to them at the end of the week and quiz myself again to ensure I have learned them. I would like to quiz myself using the multiple choices. But I only see my Mastered word list and unable to quiz myself. Please add this function if not already there, would be a wonderful learning tool. I love quizzes!
i want to share one idea, it will be great if the user is allowed to test his/her vocabulary after mastering some words.
love the 4 a day! love the mastered list and ease of hearing pronunciation.
Would like Hindi pause English to listen on iPod. Thanks so much for a wonderful study tool!
