First off, I wanted to let you know about a site that Simione Messier and her daughter created. They have been listening to the program, their site is about their travels to India, and we both thought you might enjoy it. It is called “Roam with OM”. You can find it at http://www.RoamWithOM.com.
Also, we have started using a different WordPress theme for http://www.ISpeakHindi.com. It shows more of the entries on the front page, allows for you to navigate the previous entries using a calendar, and shows you categories. If there is a WordPress theme that you think would be good for ISpeakHindi.com, please email me at nathan@IspeakHindi.com. We are trying to come up with a list of categories and tags to associate to the sessions to help you find the ones you are interested in. If you have some suggestions, please let me know. We have also installed a plugin to hide the ads on recent podcasts for our repeat visitors. Hopefully this will make your visits to ISpeakHindi.com more enjoyable. Let me know if you have further suggestions on improving the site.
The Wiki is back up at http://www.ISpeakHindi.com/wiki. There is still a lot of spam, but apparently that is not what Google had de-listed us for. Someone apparently had hacked into the main page of ISpeakHindi.com and put some hidden links to other sites. This is what had violated Google’s terms. However, the spam on the wiki still needs to be taken care of. If you are familiar with MediaWiki and have some suggestions on confronting this problem, then please let me know.
I am also looking at using Moodle to run the ISpeakHindi site. It is meant for online schools. It allows for you to have quizzes, assignments, discussion boards, and many other things. I was thinking it would be very useful to have quizzes that you could take after each podcast to test what you had learned. If you have some experience with Moodle or other software like it and have some advice, please let me know.

Have you heard of Sindhi? Or about a place called Sindh? Well, that is actually where Meena and Nariandas are from. And Sindhi is their first language. We are starting a site called ISpeakSindhi.com
The sessions will be a lot less frequent and much shorter. However, we want to go ahead and get started on it. So if you are someone you know is from Sindh, knows Sindhi, is interested in Sindhi, or plans to visit Sindh, you might want to tell them about ISpeakSindhi.com

The wiki has been overcome with spam, and I have had to take it offline. I am not sure if I will put it back online.. The content that was there is safe, but I will have to figure another way to maintain it.
The spam problem is something that has been slowly growing. Also, Google has noticed it as well and has stopped showing ISpeakHindi.com in its results. This means we are not getting any traffic from Google. So until we get that problem sorted out, we need your help. Can you please tell your friends, Hindi teachers, fellow Hindi students, etc. about ISpeakHindi.com? Also, if you are a member of any Hindi related discussion list, have a Hindi related website, etc. can you put a link to ISpeakHindi.com on your site and submit it to those lists.
I really appreciate your help. Thanks. –Nathan
