भारत की राष्ट्रीय वेषभूषा
Just listen and read this passage from Namaste Jii (page 448). It talks about the clothes that people in India wear.
भारत में आदमी कुरता-पजामा या धोती पहनते हैं। दक्षिण भारत में लुंगी और कमीज़ या बनियान पहनते हैं। लोग सिर पर टोपी या साफ़ा पहनते हैं। पंजाब में सरदार लोग पगड़ी बाँधते हैं। कुछ लोग शेरवानी भी पहनते हैं। अलग अलग धर्म या प्रदेशों के लोग अलग-अलग तरह के कपड़े पहनते हैं लेकिन कुरता-पजामा आदमियों के लिये राष्ट्रीय वेषभूषा है। लड़कियाँ सलवार-कमीज़, चोली-घाघरा या साड़ी पहनती हैं। साड़ी औरतों के लिये भारत की राष्ट्रीय वेषभूषा है।
